Who we are

Techova is a software development company based in Cairo, Egypt. This policy covers the website techova.dev and the email we send to people who have asked to hear from us or whose business contact details we have obtained lawfully.

Registered entity. Techova for Information Technology (تيكوفا لتكنولوجيا المعلومات), a limited liability company registered in Egypt under Commercial Register no. 53022, issued by the 6th of October Investment Commercial Registry. Registered office: Apartment 1, Building 70, Second Neighbourhood, Eighth District, Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt.

What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need:

• What you send us. Your name, email, phone number, company and message when you submit a contact form, book a meeting or subscribe to our newsletter.
• How the site is used. Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, collected through Google Analytics — only if you accept cookies.
• How our emails perform. Whether an email we sent you was delivered, opened or had a link clicked, and which pages of techova.dev you visited afterwards. Where we already know who you are because we emailed you, this activity is linked to your contact record so our team can follow up in a relevant way rather than guessing.

Cookies and your choice

Cookies strictly needed to run the site are always active. Anything else — analytics and the visit tracking described above — loads only after you press Accept on our cookie banner. If you press Decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is tracked.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again on your next visit.

Why we are allowed to use it

We rely on your consent for cookies, analytics and marketing email, and on our legitimate interest in running and growing a business for direct business-to-business outreach and for keeping records of our dealings with you. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, ever. We share it only with the service providers that make our business run:

• Google Analytics — anonymous website usage statistics (only after you accept)
• Resend — sending and delivery tracking for our email
• Microsoft 365 — our own mailboxes and calendars
• Our hosting provider — servers that run this website and our internal systems

Some of these providers are outside Egypt, which means your data may be processed abroad under the contractual protections those providers offer.

How long we keep it

Contact and enquiry records are kept for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, and for up to three years after our last contact. Website analytics are kept for 14 months. Email engagement records are kept for two years. If you ask us to delete your data, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Every marketing email we send also carries an unsubscribe link. To make any of these requests, email info@techova.dev — we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner so you can make your choice again.
