What this actually involves.

The second language is where it breaks

Most AI projects work in English and fall over on everything else. Arabic runs roughly 25% longer and its letters change shape by position, which breaks naive tokenisation and rendering — and a model tuned on Modern Standard Arabic misreads how Egyptian and Gulf users actually write. The same trap catches Spanish for US products. We build and test against real user language, not textbook language.

Where your data goes is a legal question in every market

There is no single answer, so we design to whichever regime applies to you. In the US that means HIPAA business associate agreements and a state-by-state patchwork — twenty-four states have now passed comprehensive privacy statutes and no federal law overrides them. In Egypt, storing personal data abroad is a cross-border transfer needing a licence that names each destination country, with full PDPL enforcement in October 2026. This gets decided before the architecture, not after.

Private deployment, not just an API key

For banks, health systems, ministries and anyone operating under a BAA or a data-protection licence, sending prompts to a third-party endpoint isn't available. We deploy models inside your own infrastructure with audit trails, so the data never crosses your perimeter.

We evaluate before you deploy

Accuracy, hallucination rate, refusal behaviour and cost per resolution — measured on your real data against a held-out set, before the assistant talks to a customer. If a vendor can't show you an evaluation, what they're showing you is a demo.

We start with one use case, measured

Not an AI strategy deck. One workflow, in production, with a number attached to it. If it doesn't pay for itself we'd rather find that out in six weeks than six months.

Some things shouldn't be automated

Anything where a confident wrong answer costs more than a slow right one — final credit decisions, medical guidance, legal advice, irreversible changes to a customer's account. We route those to a human and automate everything around them instead.

What you'll want to ask.

Who owns the models and the code?

You do, from the first commit — not on final payment. The repository sits in your organisation's account and we work inside it. Training data, fine-tuned weights, prompts and pipeline code are all yours, assigned outright in the contract rather than promised for later.

Where does our data go?

Wherever you need it to. We can run entirely inside your own cloud tenancy with no data leaving your perimeter, which is usually the requirement for regulated sectors in any market. If you're subject to a specific regime — HIPAA, GDPR, Egypt's PDPL, Saudi's PDPL — we design to it rather than discovering it late.

Who actually writes it?

The engineers you meet on the first call are the engineers who build it, working in English throughout. No pre-sales team, no swap after signature, no subcontracting you weren't told about.

Can you get through our security review?

We'll complete your questionnaire honestly and show evidence for the controls we run — access control, encryption, logging, code review, dependency scanning — rather than claiming a certification we don't hold. Worth knowing: SOC 2 is an attestation an auditor issues about a specific organisation for a specific period, not a certificate. If one is a hard procurement gate for you, say so on the first call rather than at contract stage.

What if the AI doesn't work well enough?

We scope the first use case so that's answerable in weeks, not quarters, and agree the success measure before starting. Some problems shouldn't be solved with AI — we'll say so rather than build something that demos well and fails in production.

What does it actually cost to run?

Inference cost is the part people discover late. We model it per transaction before building — tokens, embeddings, storage and the retries nobody budgets for — and design around it, because a smaller model with good retrieval usually beats a large one on both accuracy and cost. You get the running-cost figure before you commit, not after.
